The Best Simple Burger On The Block

Step 1: have 2 pounds of ground beef. For better quality, make sure to have very good lean meat, in order for the meat to "meat" its full potential (sorry just had to say it lol).
Step 2: start the meat off by tenderly messing with it to make it easier to roll into a ball. After you have played with the meat a lil, you can add a little bit of salt and pepper. Start off slow and gradually add more until your heart's content.
Step 3: if you are in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger, then you can start off by cutting uncooked bacon strips into little TINY pieces and adding them to the mix of meat, salt and pepper. Then take some of cheese and crumble it into the meat to give you a good cheesy flavor over all. As a matter of fact you might want to do this and the bacon before you start mixing the meat with the spices (that is, the salt and pepper).
Step 4: make the meat into a good sized ball, almost as big as your fist, if not bigger to have a bigger patty in the long run.
Step 5: Cook it to your liking.
step 6: Enjoy!
Notes:
Add some Worcestershire sauce to the meat before cooking and you've got a great burger!
No specific amount for anything is given here because it is really about experamenting with the meat, for the best flavoring... remember the best types of food come from those who mess with the origanl recipe. That's why it would be known as EXTRA-ordinary instead of just plain old ordinary! =)
Have fun cooking and remember to have fun with it. =D
